Paul Ryan makes me want to tear my hair out and float into the sun because:

• he wants to hike up taxes for the middle class to cut taxes for the wealthy
• he wants to cut Pell Grants for ten million students
• he wants to cut clean energy investments by 19%
• he wants to turn Medicare into a voucher program which would increase seniors’ health costs by $6,350 a year
• he wants to privitize Social Security, meaning that seniors’ retirement funds are subject to the instability of the stock market
• he cosponsored a bill that wants to ban in-vitro fertilization, as well as birth control methods. (namely, the Pill) This same bill could ban all abortions, regardless of rape/incest cases
• he supports letting states prosecute women who have abortions and doctors who perform them
• he voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which helps women fight for equal pay for equal work
• he voted against repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
• he voted against enforcing against anti-gay hate crimes
• he voted to terminate funding for National Public Radio
• he voted to increase spending on defense, the Afghanistan War and various weapon systems to the level of $642 billion - $8 billion more than before

This is who Mitt Romney decided was fit to be Vice President. I’m disgusted.
