Hey so here’s a summary of how the US election would go if everyone went out and voted today, based on recent state-level polling data. Not saying that state-level polling data is super reliable BUT if you accept that it is then Obama is basically guaranteed to win the election at this point. Virginia and Florida remain super tight, and Colorado and North Carolina are pretty close, but ultimately Obama remains in the lead in Ohio, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nevada, and all the states you’d expect him to win.

So that was kind of surprising to me. But yeah, apparently Obama is not in as dire of straights as those early voting numbers suggest.

DON’T LET THIS MAKE YOU COMPLACENT AND STAY HOME.

If the caps didn’t convince you, let me tell you this: it’s NOT guaranteed that President Obama is getting another four years. So get out there and vote.
